1.    Course

1.1.   How to Select a Course?

Method 1: Select Learn > Course, select a course category, click a course in the course list, and purchase the course (if the course is not free).

Method 2: Enter the course name in the search box to search for the course. When the course is found, purchase the course (if the course is not free).

1.2.   How to View Course Details and Start Learning?

On the course list page, you can see the course name, lecturer name, and number of trainees under a course image. To open a course detail page, click the corresponding image.

On a course detail page, you can see the course introduction (by moving the mouse over Course Introduction), credits, duration, lecturer, notes, chapters, comment, and purchase information.

1.3.   How to Purchase a Course?

If a course is free, you can directly start learning the course on the course detail page, without the need to purchase it.

If a course is not free, you should click Purchase and pay K coins to purchase it. After the course is purchased, it is automatically played.

1.4.   How to Learn a Course by Chapter, Write Notes, or Comment on the Course?

On the course detail page, you can click Notes on the upper right corner to write or view notes. You can also encrypt notes, so that other people cannot see your notes. You can click Chapters and select a desired chapter to learn (If the course is not divided by chapter, no chapter information is displayed.) Under the course play area, you can comments on the course in the Comment text box, or reply to a comment.

1.5.   Why Are Some Courses Unavailable to Me?

Some courses can be learned only by authorized people.

2.    Live Course

2.1.   How to Purchase a Live Course?

Select Learn > Live Course. Click a category (Latest, Hot, or History), and find the desired live course in the course list. You can also enter the name of the live course in the search box to search for the course.

After finding the live course, click the corresponding image. When the course detail page is displayed, click Purchase Now and pay the required number of K coins to purchase the course. 

Note that you should enter the live classroom during the specified lecture time of the live course. Otherwise, no lecturer is available in the classroom.

2.2.   How to View the Live Courses That I Have Purchased?

Select Share > Live Course > Purchased. All the live courses that you have purchased are listed.

2.3.   How to Enter a Live Classroom to Learn a Live Course?

Method 1: Click the desired live course in the live course list to display the course detail page.

 

Click Purchase Now, pay the required number of K coins to purchase the course, and then click Enter to learn.

 

Method 2: Select Share > Live Course > Purchased. Click the desired live course on this page. When the course detail page is displayed, click Enter to learn.

 

2.4.   How to Learn and Interact During a Live Class?

On the course detail page, click Enter to learn to enter the live classroom.

After entering the live classroom, you can see the following page layout:

On the left blank area, the lecturer shares his or her screen. On the upper right corner, the video and audio tuning buttons of the lecturer are displayed. On the lower right corner, all the participants in the live classroom are listed.

 

You can click 2015-07-28_155255.png, enter a message in the message box, and press Enter. You message is sent to all the participants in the live classroom. You can also talk privately with a trainee by entering @+trainee name+message content in the message box.

If you have a question to ask, you can click 2015-07-28_155255.png. When seeing the 2015-07-28_155255.png status, the lecturer can add you to the question position and talk with you. Your conversation with the lecturer can be heard by all the other trainees.

 

2.5.   How to Create a Live Course?

Select Share > Live Course > Create Now. Enter the name, price (optional), maximum number of trainees, start time, and end time of a live course, select and upload a course image, enter course description, and click Submit.

To view the live courses that you have created, select Share > Live Course > My Live.

2.6.   How to Upload Resources for a Live Course?

Select Share > Live Course > Upload Resource. The resource upload page is displayed. Select a resource, enter the resource name, and click Submit.

 

To view the resources that you have uploaded, select Share > Live Course > My Resource.

2.7.   How to Teach a Live Course?

Select Share > Live Course > My Live. Click a live course in the list, and click Enter to teach.

Note: Before starting the live course, you should prepare for it. For example, upload necessary resources, or download, install, and debug screen sharing software.

 

After entering the live classroom, you can see the following page layout:

On the toolbar, there are several buttons including Screen Sharing, E-whiteboard, Prohibit Chat, and Help. Under the toolbar, there is a live resource search box and a resource list.

On the right pane, you can see your own video, a participant list, and a message box.

You can double-click a resource file in the resource list to display the file to all the trainees.

 

You can click 2015-07-28_153222.png and chat with others.

2.8.   How to Use Resources During a Live Course?

On the live course page, double-click a resource file in the resource list to display the file to all the trainees.

3.    Microblog

3.1.   How to Publish a Microblog?

Select Share > Microblog. Enter the microblog content in the Create Microblog text box, and then click OK. You can insert emotions, images, and topics in the microblog.

Note: A regular microblog should not exceed 140 characters. To write a microblog longer than 140 characters, select Long message.

3.2.   How to Mention Other People in a Microblog?

You can mention other people in a microblog by using the "@username" format. The system automatically lists associated usernames. You can select desired usernames, enter the microblog content, and then click OK to publish the microblog. The mentioned people will receive corresponding prompts.

3.3.   How to Insert a Topic in a Microblog?

In the Create Microblog text box, you can insert a topic by using the "#topic#" format.

You can also click Topic, click Insert topic, and choose a topic from the topic list.

3.4.   How to Publish a Long Microblog?

You can click Long message, and enter a microblog without the 140-character limit on the displayed page.

The page for editing a long message is as shown below.

In the Content text box, you can enter text and insert images, or directly copy and paste contents from a Word document.

3.5.   How to Forward a Microblog?

On the microblog browse page, you can forward a microblog by clicking Forward under the microblog.

When forwarding the microblog, you can also enter some text.

After you forward the microblog, the total number of times that the microblog is forwarded is incremented by one, see the following figure.

The following figure shows an example of a forwarded microblog.

3.6.   How to Comment on a Microblog?

On the microblog browse page, you can comment on a microblog by clicking Comment under the microblog.

After you comment on the microblog, the comment is directly displayed under the microblog, and the total number of comments is incremented by one.

3.7.   How to Follow Other People?

There are several methods for following other people:

Select Share > Microblog. Find a user in the Hot User list on the right side of the page, and click +Follow

Select Share > Microblog. Click the Follow or Followers link on the upper right corner of the page to display the user search page.

The user search page is as shown below.

Click All User to display all the users on the platform, and then click +Follow under a user that you want to follow.

You can directly search for a user to follow by entering the user number or username. You can also select a department, click Query to display all the users in the department, and follow desired users.

3.8.   How to Search for and Follow a Hot Topic?

Select Share > Microblog. In the Hot Topics list on the right side of the page, click a topic to display the microblogs related to this topic.

3.9.   How to View Official Microblogs?

Official microblogs are available to all users, while the microblogs published by a regular user are only available to those users that follow the publisher.

Official microblogs are marked with a "V" sign, as shown below.

4.    Group

4.1.   How to Create a Group?

Select Group > Create Group. On the displayed page, enter the group name, upload a group image, select a group category, enter group description, select whether the group is public or not, and then click Submit.

Note: 1. If a group is not public, only the administrator of the group can manually add members to the group. 2. After a group is created at the front end, it can be seen at the front end and invite participates only after the administrator approves the group.

4.2.   How to Manage a Group?

A group can be managed only by the group owner. To manage a group, select Group > My Groups, and click a group in the My Groups list on the right side to display the group detail page.

You can click Edit and edit the information about the group. The edit page is the same as the page for creating the group.

You can click All under the group name to display the list of group members,

as shown below. You can remove a member from the group, or set a member as the group administrator.

 

4.3.   How to Publish a Message Within a Group?

Select Group > Square or Group > My Groups, and click a group to display the group detail page. Enter a message in the Create Message text box, and click OK.

Similar to a microblog, a message can contain emotions and images, and it can be a long message. The difference is that a message can contain attachments.

4.4.   How to Search for Desired Groups?

There are several entrances to a group:

²  On the default Explore page, the latest and hot messages of all groups are displayed. If you are interested in a message, you can click From+group name under the message to enter the corresponding group.

²  On the group detail page, you can click +Join Group to join the group. After joining the group, you can view the messages in the group, and send messages to others in the group.

²  You can click a group in the Recommended Groups area on the right side of the Explore page to display the group detail page.

²  On the Square page, you can click a group and enter it.

You can enter a group name in the search box to query the group. Fuzzy query is also supported.

5.    Library

5.1.   Where Can Documents Be Found?

Select Learn > Library. By default, all documents are displayed. You can filter the documents by selecting a category. You can also enter a keyword in the text box on the upper right corner of the page to search for the document.

5.2.   How to Upload and Share a Document?

Select Share > Document > Upload Now. Select a desired document, and set the document category. The document name is automatically generated according to the original file name after it is uploaded, and you can modify it as required. The Price field is optional.

Note: Only the documents in pdf, doc, docx, xls, xlsx, ppt, and pptx formats can be uploaded.

5.3.   How to View the Documents That I Have Uploaded, Downloaded, or Added to My Favorites?

Select Share > Document. You can see four blue buttons. You can click the former three buttons ( Uploaded, Downloaded, and My Favorites) to respectively view the lists of documents that you have uploaded, downloaded, or added to your favorites.

5.4.   How to Download a Document or Add It to Your Favorites?

Select Learn > Library. Click the document to be downloaded or added to favorites in the document list. The document detail page is displayed.

To download the document, click Download at the upper right corner of the page.

To add the document to your favorites, click Add To Favorites at the upper right corner of the page. If this document is already in your favorites, the Add To Favorites button becomes Added to Favorites.

5.5.   How to Comment on a Document?

Select Learn > Library. Click the document to be downloaded or added to favorites in the document list. The document detail page is displayed.

Comment on the document by moving the mouse over the stars under Document comment.

Note: You can comment on a document once only. Do not attempt to comment on the document by moving the mouse over the stars under Document information, because this operation is invalid.

6.    Q&A

You can click Ask to enter the Q&A module. This module includes five buttons including All Questions, My Questions, My Answers, Followings, and Ask a Question. You can click a button to display the corresponding page.

6.1.   How to Ask a Question With Award?

Click Ask a Question. The question page is displayed. Enter the title and content of your question, select a question type, set the number of K coins to be awarded, and click Submit.

The more K coins you award, the more users can be attracted by your question and the faster your question can be answered. If you accept a best answer, the preset K coins are awarded to the user who offers this answer. (For how to accept a best answer, refer to the related help information.) 

You can click All Questions and see which questions have awards.

6.2.   How to Answer a Question?

On the All Questions page, all questions are displayed. You can filter the questions by clicking a question type.

If you are interested in a question, you can click the title of the question to display the question detail page.

To answer the question, click Answer, and enter your answer in the pop-up text box.

6.3.   How to Follow a Question?

You can follow a question only if you are the person who has asked this question.

If you want to ask a further question after receiving an answer to your question, you can click Follow this question and enter your new question in the pop-up text box.

6.4.   How to Reply to a Further Question?

To answer a further question, click Further Reply, and enter your answer in the pop-up text box.

6.5.   How to Accept a Best Answer?

If you are satisfied with an answer on the question detail page, you can accept it as a best answer by clicking Set as the Best Answer.

After a best answer is accepted, further questions cannot be asked or answered. The best answer can only be approved or disapproved.

Tip: If you accept a best answer, you may receive extra credits, and the answerer may also receive award credits.

6.6.   How to Supplement a Question?

To supplement a question, click Perfect answer on the question detail page, and edit your answer in the pop-up text box.

6.7.   How to Quickly Find All the Questions That I Have Asked?

Select Ask > My Questions. All the questions that you have asked are displayed. You can filter the questions by selecting a type.

6.8.   How to Quickly Find All the Questions That I Have Followed?

Select Ask > Followings. All the questions that you have followed are displayed. You can filter the questions by selecting a type.

6.9.   How to Quickly Find All the Questions That I Have Answered?

Select Ask > My Answers. All the questions that you have answered are displayed. You can filter the questions by selecting a type.

7.    Topic

7.1.   What Is a Topic?

A topic can be understood as a knowledge package. It consists of courses, documents, and questions that are organized for the convenience of learning. For example, a series of courses or all the outputs of a training activity are bundled together as a topic.

There are two entrances to topics. One is Wonderful Topics on the home page, and the other is Learn > Topic. You can click a topic under Wonderful Topics to display the contents of the topic, see the following figure.

After selecting Learn > Topic, you can see a list of topics, see the following figure.

Under a topic name, you can see the numbers of courses, documents, and questions associated with this topic.

7.2.   How to View a Topic Course?

Click a topic under Wonderful Topics. The Courses page is displayed by default. You can click a topic to start learning.

7.3.   How to View a Topic Document?

Click a topic under Wonderful Topics, and then click Documents.

7.4.   How to View a Topic Question?

Click a topic under Wonderful Topics, and then click Questions.

8.    Personal Center

8.1.   How to Query My Credits, Score, and K Coins?

Select Personal Center > My Treasure. Your K coins, score, and credits are displayed on top of the page. You can also select a time range for query.

8.2.   How to Modify My Password?

Select Personal Center > Modify Password. Respectively enter the old password, new password, and new password again, and then click Submit.

8.3.   How to Retrieve My Password If I Forget It?

If you forget your password, you can click Forgot password? in the login dialog box, and then retrieve your password step by step. To retrieve your password, you should provide the email address used for registration. If you do not leave an email address upon registration, the password cannot be retrieved. In that case, you should contact the platform administrator to complete your personal registration information and try retrieving your password again.

8.4.   How to Modify Personal Information?

Select Personal Center > Basic Settings. The personal information page is displayed. You can modify your profile picture, username, gender, mobile number (important), and Email address (important). You can use the mobile number or Email address to log in to the platform. The Email address is the unique method for retrieving your password.

8.5.   How to View the Courses That I Have Purchased, Received, Developed, or Are Associated With My Position or Department?

Select Personal Center > My Course. The following menus are displayed: Purchased (courses purchased by you), Assigned (courses assigned to you), Department (courses of your department), Position (courses of your position), and My Own (courses developed by you).

8.6.   How to Gain Scores?

You can gain scores in any of the following ways:

²  Answer a question that has no best answer yet.

²  Your answer to a question is accepted as the best answer.

²  Upload a document to the library.

²  A course developed by you is published by the administrator.

²  A live course offered by you is published by the administrator.

In any of the following cases, your scores will be deducted:

²  You do not comply with rules when answering a question, and your answer is deleted by the administrator.

²  For particular reasons, your scores are directly deducted by the administrator at the back end.

8.7.   How to Gain Credits?

You can gain credits in any of the following ways:

²  Ask a question successfully.

²  Accept a best answer to your question.

²  After completing a course, you will gain the corresponding credits.

²  If the proportion of your live course duration to the total duration is greater than a preset proportion, you will gain the corresponding credits.

In any of the following cases, your credits will be deducted:

²  You do not comply with rules when answering a question, and your answer is deleted by the administrator.

²  For particular reasons, your credits are directly deducted by the administrator at the back end.

8.8.   How to Earn K Coins?

You can earn K coins in any of the following ways:

²  Log in to the system for the first time every day.

²  A document uploaded by you is purchased by others.

²  A course developed by you is published by the administrator.

²  A live course offered by you is published by the administrator.

In any of the following cases, your K coins will be deducted:

²  Use K coins to purchase a regular course, live course, or document.

²  For particular reasons, your K coins are directly deducted by the administrator at the back end.
